Job Summary
This Human Resource (HR) role is responsible for assisting in the daily operations and activities of the HR Department providing administrative support to successfully implement local initiatives, and execute regional and corporate programs. Help to create an environment to attract, develop, retain and engage talent throughout the Redistribution Network to deliver business goals.

Responsibilities
- Execution of transactional core Human Resource (HR) processes (e.g. coordinate and conduct new colleague orientation, onboarding and exit interviews, leave administration, etc.).
- Support hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and staffing plans.
- Administer programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction levels as well as assist with driving an inclusive culture.
- Provides technical, customer relations, and general support for major initiatives and projects.
- Maintain and track compliance programs.
- Create and/or distribute communications (memos, emails, letters, presentations, spreadsheets, surveys, etc.).
- Track data and/or consolidate responses as requested and follow-up with others as needed to obtain information and identify insights.
- Answer main telephone line in a timely and professional manner, screen and direct caller(s) to the appropriate individual(s). Take messages as needed and relay to appropriate individual(s). Ensure telephone coverage during regular business hours.
- Greet and assist visitors to the facility. Comply with security requirements relating to entrance into the building via the visitor access system and follow all policies relating to security, handling customer/visitor related issues, etc.
- Prepare and distribute the Company newsletter.
- Maintain Company bulletin boards in compliance with Company policies.
- Purchase/order supplies for the department and process transactions and expense reports through various Sysco programs.
- Assist with colleague check-ins, as needed, and follow up on completions.
- Administrative support for meetings, conference calls, video-conference calls, webinars/e-meetings, etc.
- Support Safety area with facility record keeping, filing and reporting related to safety and environmental compliance and requirements.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
