Job Description:
Sysco is a global leader in foodservice distribution, and we're looking for a skilled CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products from our warehouse to customers, ensuring proper delivery and unloading according to company standards.
- We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 to $85,000 per year, with opportunities for growth within a team-focused environment.
- Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and have experience in truck driving, while also adhering to safety regulations and customer service practices.
- The ideal candidate will be able to handle hazardous materials and food and restaurant items that are frozen, dry, and refrigerated.
Responsibilities:
- Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines.
- Develop and establish good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
