A Logistics Driver at Sysco plays a critical role in the safe and efficient transportation of food products to customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving a tractor trailer unit to various customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations.
- Unload products from the trailer, handling them according to preferred work methods and scanning them into the store as needed.
- Pick up, load, and unload damaged goods and customer returns, transporting them back to the SYGMA warehouse.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time, including DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, and pre and post-trip reports.
