As a Logistics Supervision Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the activities associated with delivery. This includes collaborative direction to delivery supervisory staff, specific direction to drivers, routing, safety, and compliance. You will analyze live and historical data to ensure accuracy for maintaining optimal delivery plans and on-time customer service. Additionally, you will supervise labor hours and direct labor activities to stay within budget, recommend work schedules, and coordinate required repairs.
The ideal candidate will have one to three years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A two or four-year college degree in business management, supply chain management, or a similar major is preferred. Key skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to keyboard proficiently.
