About the Job
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Linehaul Driver to join our team at Sysco in Kansas City, MO. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting products from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and documentation protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport products from the warehouse to the customer location and ensure timely delivery according to assigned route.
- Complete DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports, and pre and post-trip reports accurately and on a timely basis.
- Ensure all invoices are accurate and case counts match bill of ladings.
- Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including pallets, load bars, SLS unit, and personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; Safe lifting and delivery practices.
- Skill in driving over long distances, communicating with customers.
