About the Job
The Inbound Unloader is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products in our warehouse. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking and inspecting products being unloaded for quality and quantity
- Notifying warehouse management of any issues with purchase orders
- Ensuring that drivers are safely backed up to the proper door before unloading begins
- Documenting any discrepancies or issues with products
- Notifying warehouse management when trucks are running behind schedule
- Returning unwanted products to the truck
- Signing all necessary paperwork before releasing the truck
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Prior experience with pallet jacks and forklifts is preferred
