Job Title: Sr. Content Creator Creative Services - Corporate
The Senior Content Creator will be responsible for producing original, thought provoking designs, layout and production of marketing collateral material. This includes white papers, brochures, product briefs, pitchbooks, presentations, designing brand, promotion and other interactive campaigns from concept through execution. Will work with the Director of Creative Services, other leaders in the marketing department as well as OpCos to develop creative ideas and concepts that have a high visual impact and meet the client’s objectives. Individual is a highly collaborative and able to work cohesively with all levels of the organization in a fast paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for producing original, thought provoking designs, and content which includes marketing collateral that support the business objectives. The role has responsibility for defining objectives, establishing project plans, timelines and completing tasks within established SLAs. This position also has a key role in developing and adhering to standards, guidelines and imagery for Sysco-owned product or packaging artwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Execute ideas from concept through production
- Implement and ensure established brand identity across various platforms
- Work within established templates, ensuring brand adherence
- Manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Coordinate with marketing managers and internal clients
- Complete all work for a project within SLA guidelines, including final specs for design
- Must be able to accept constructive criticism or rejection of design concepts.
- Supports various Corporate and Operating Company teams by collaborating on the timely development and creation of product training and marketing materials to include point of sale, brochures, banners and other related collateral.
- Must be able to work independently and constructively, according to strict timelines within SLAs, with a variety of stakeholders on the creation of tactical category collateral such as product specific brochures, catalogs, videos, and training assets.
- Develops packaging artwork standards and designs packaging vignettes and layouts for Sysco-owned trademarked packaging and proprietary assets.
- Responsible for system-wide asset uploads, tracking usage, and trouble-shooting any field designer issues.
- Informs and may manage the Image and Item data collection processes and resources for product imagery used in web-based and mobile order entry systems.
- Provides select image content and assists as needed with image manipulation for a variety of Sysco applications and programs.
- Completes select projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, as needed.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops (virtual or in-person); reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year College or University
- 5 years of professional experience as a designer in-house, or with a marketing or advertising agency
- A thorough understanding of web- and print-based technologies and design, including HTML, page layout and advertising campaigns. This includes a general understanding of software programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator on a Mac-based platform.
- Other: Final Cut Pro, HTML, Flash, Microsoft suite
