About the Job:
Sysco is looking for a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-year school and 4 years of experience or 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
- Certifications in Annual Inspector Certification, Brake Inspector Certification, ASE certifications, and EPA section 608 (Core & Type II) and 609 HVAC & Refrigeration Certification.
