Job Requirements:
The Truck Mechanic II will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on Company-owned equipment and fleet vehicles. This includes conducting daily vehicle inspections, identifying defects, and performing necessary repairs to ensure the continued operation of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and schedule routine maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate effectively with drivers and management to address any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in diesel mechanics preferred.
- Valid driver's license and annual inspector certification.
- ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks and EPA section 608 and 609 HVAC and refrigeration certifications.
