This role requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer unit over long distances, navigating various terrains and weather conditions.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to customers, adhering to assigned routes and DOT electronic or manual logs.
- Complete pre- and post-trip reports, inspections, and vehicle maintenance records accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate invoices and case counts, matching bill of ladings.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to, a high school diploma.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; safe lifting and delivery practices.
