About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at Sysco. As a Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and reliability of our fleet vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and has a passion for transportation equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and maintaining all fleet vehicles in accordance with company methods.
- Repairing vehicles and equipment as required to maximize safety and reliability.
- Diagnosing and repairing complex electrical systems on all equipment.
- Mentoring and teaching junior technicians to aid in their development.
- Performing moderate supervisory roles when Fleet Manager or Fleet Supervisors are not accessible.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
- ASE certifications & Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks.
- Expert knowledge and skill in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on all equipment.
- Expert knowledge and skill in Preventive Maintenance Inspections and repair.
- Moderate knowledge and skill in welding and cutting (gas, electric, MIG, TIG).
