Position Overview

This role is at the forefront of building intuitive and high-performance web applications using modern technologies. As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality software that meets both business and technical needs. Your expertise will guide the team in building scalable, efficient, and maintainable applications, and you will mentor junior developers to help them grow in their careers.

This role is on-site at our headquarters in Stamford, CT. Only local candidates will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable web applications and dynamic user interfaces using TypeScript, Vue, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
• Work with RESTful APIs to ensure smooth data flow and optimal performance.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Architect and implement software solutions that meet business requirements and ensure optimal performance.
• Partner closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver feature-rich, customer-centric solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to maintain high standards in security, performance, and maintainability.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development, and continuously seek improvements in development practices and user experience.
• Provide technical guidance to peers and document code and system designs for long-term maintainability.
• Embrace pair programming as the primary daily coding approach to foster collaboration, accelerate problem-solving, and enhance code quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Vue, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, HTML, and ES6 .
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, unit testing, CI/CD, and modern authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth).
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and architecture.
• Proven experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal/written communication abilities.
• Experience working in agile development environments and participating in sprint cycles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
