We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering on the Cybersecurity Program, collaborating closely with the Cybersecurity Program Manager to execute a variety of moderate to large-scale projects.
What you'll do:
- Lead the Charge: Drive all phases of cybersecurity projects from initiation and planning to design, testing, and successful implementation.
- Champion Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including IT teams, business units, and vendors, to ensure alignment and achieve project objectives.
- Master the Methodology: Utilize Project Management methodology, including Waterfall and Agile frameworks, to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Navigate the Technical Landscape: Understand the Cybersecurity roadmap and translate technical requirements into comprehensive project plans, test plans, and solutions.
- Drive Effective Communication: Keep stakeholders informed with clear and concise status reports, and facilitate critical discussions related to risks, opportunities, and project decisions.
- Ensure Smooth Transitions: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through to successful transition to operations and project closure.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Proven Expertise: 7 years of experience successfully managing and delivering cybersecurity projects in a matrixed or co-sourced environment.
- Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices, with the ability to grasp technical constraints and dependencies.
- Project Management Prowess: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, along with a PMP, Six Sigma, SLDC, or Agile certification.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build relationships and achieve successful outcomes with diverse stakeholders.
- Tools & Technology: Proficient in project management tools like MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and budgeting software. Experience with PPM tools (Jira, ServiceNow) and cybersecurity tools is a plus.
