We currently have a great opportunity available for a Product Manager. The Product Manager is responsible for the upstream product management and marketing of the Sysmex America Inc. portfolio. The position is responsible for creating "best-in-class" strategic marketing and sales plans / programs and for all aspects of product life cycle management to assist Sysmex in achieving its business objectives in All Americas. This position is also responsible for providing in-depth market and industry knowledge, competitive analysis to assist in developing product and market business plans to achieve sales and market share goals, establishing a core of resident Sysmex product knowledge for existing and competitive products, assisting in training sales and application roles and launching new products that achieve mid-term plan goals and meet target requirements.The Product Manager proactively communicates and works in alignment with all departments within Sysmex and conducts all initiatives professionally, within legal, regulatory, and Sysmex standards. The Product Manager demonstrates a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, organizational impact, and ability to manage products and people, within established timelines to meet departmental and company objectives. This individual can also effectively determine data and market research needs and obtain necessary sales and marketing information to make sound business decisions. This role will support the Hematology product line.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day management and responsibility for overall strategy for Sysmex portfolio products / solutions.
- Act as the internal and external champion of Sysmex product lines.
- Manage activities to ensure that technical materials, white papers, product launch materials and training materials are developed as appropriate.
- Develop "anti-competitive" messaging / materials and updates for commercial operations as necessary.
- Lead feedback and input to S-Corp functions on current and future customer needs and wants as market research and analysis for all SAI markets.
- Support new product launch teams working across departments to introduce new Sysmex products to the marketplace.
- Serve as an expert on product lines and is technically competent in Clinical Laboratory Science. This person is a key source of information and knowledge regarding Sysmex portfolio offerings.

Travel: 25-30%
Bachelor's degree in business or in the scientific field required. 5-8 years of relevant work experience OR an Associate's degree with 5-8 years of clinical laboratory experience required. Master's degree with a specialization in business preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of major Sysmex and competitive systems.
- Core understanding of IVD, general clinical laboratory science and/or Information Systems.
- Specific technical expert in area of specilty and key source of information.
- Proven IVD marketing and/or sales experience.
- Experience in life cycle management is a plus.
- Highly proficient MS Office applications - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
