Position: Data Modeler (Manufacturing Domain)

Location: Remote

Duration: 6-12 Months

Must Have Skills:

Educate the Chief Data Officer on realistic timelines by showcasing iterative approaches and industry benchmarks.

Deep experience in data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), Data Vault, 3NF, and unstructured/semi-structured modeling for data lakes.

Proficiency in modeling for modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).

Proven track record of delivering data models using agile methodologies, such as iterative prototyping and incremental development.

Ability to prioritize high-value use cases (e.g., customer analytics, financial reporting) and build minimum viable models quickly.

Experience in facilitating workshops to rapidly define key entities, relationships, and business rules with stakeholders.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to mentor the CDO and align business and IT teams.

Ability to translate technical timelines into business value, convincing the CDO of faster delivery through phased approaches.
