Role- Test Automation Architect / Lead With Banking Domain

The client is looking for a highly skilled Test Automation Architect / Lead with a deep understanding of test automation , banking applications , and compliance testing . The individual should possess a strong technical background, leadership experience, and the ability to design and implement testing strategies and frameworks that align with banking industry standards. They need to ensure seamless collaboration with various teams and optimize testing processes, while staying updated on the latest trends in the field
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage testing engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and schedules in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of testing teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback throughout the testing engagement.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between testing teams, development teams, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct Test Assessment and Analysis including conducting initial interviews to review the QA application portfolio and testing processes, analyze current state and identify gaps in the testing process & develop a high-level QE transformation roadmap based on findings
- Define and implement test automation strategies, frameworks, and best practices for banking applications. Troubleshoot automation failures, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the development and maintenance of automation frameworks across UI, API, and database layers.
- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate automation tools and technologies suited for banking applications.
- Ensure compliance with banking security standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in test automation.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines.
- Optimize test execution to enhance test coverage, reliability, and maintainability.
- Stay updated on emerging test automation trends, tools, and technologies in the banking domain.
