Job Description

Splunk Engineer is responsible for monitoring of Ecommerce applications. A Splunk Engineer is expected to use a software development mindset to solve operational and platform challenges the

Responsibilities :

Demonstrates general understanding of hardware, software, and cloud platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration Plans and executes implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.

Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of modern architecture standards and technologies.

Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.

Analyses production system operations using tools such as monitoring and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability

Demonstrates flexibility for work shifts as per business needs

Utilizes an ownership mindset when working on supported tools and applications.

Accountabilities :

Help in automation of manual activities

Enhance monitoring around Splunk

Creating Splunk Dashboards, alerting and monitoring

Requirements :

Strong desire to learn new technologies, solve problems through automation, and improve relentlessly.

5 years of experience overall.

3-4 years of experience in Splunk

Expert knowledge of core Splunk Enterprise

Hands on experience in configuring monitoring tools like Splunk

Experience working with and implementing automation.

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.

Strong communication skills.
