What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Engineer Architect position at SysMind Tech?
Responsible for handling escalated incidents and High Availability environment incident Management on UNIX Platform [LINUX & Solaris].
- Hands on experience in Creating / Managing RHEL VMs and Solaris 10 / 11 Zones
- Expertise in managing system logs by using tools, working on security vulnerabilities
- Routine Performance Analysis, Capacity analysis, security audit analysis reports to customer for necessary planned changes
- HA engineering for architecture of HA environment with OS / patch Release management, Application load and maintain configuration of Central OS image servers.
- Scripting for monitoring / automating the Sys admin activity for change scheduled as projects on multiple servers.
- Disaster Recovery planning and conducting DR tests.
- Ongoing support for mission critical applications. Including troubleshooting, break / fix, ad hoc requests at the server infrastructure level.
- Infrastructure and mission critical support for frequent application software upgrades.
- Experience and troubleshooting with all flavors of the Unix / Linux operating system. (i.e. RHEL, Ubuntu, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX)
- Experience and troubleshooting with networking infrastructure, VMWare ESXi, Nutanix AHV, Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM), Veritas Dynamic Multipathing (DMP).
- Experience with shell scripting, Ansible automation, git version control system.
- Work and communicate with other teams to troubleshoot, provide insight, and provide solutions
