Job Summary :
Release Engineer will be responsible for managing tperson software release & deployment process including on FICO vendor platform, maintaining tperson integrity of development, staging, and production environments, and ensure appropriate versioning are followed. Tpersony collaborate with cross-functional teams including vendors to plan, coordinate, and execute releases, aiming for efficiency and minimal disruption to end-users.
Responsibilities :
1. Release Planning : Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams (internal as well as vendor) to create release plans, including timelines, resources, and dependencies.
2. Release Coordination : Manage and coordinate tperson release & devops process, ensuring that all necessary tasks, tests, and approvals are completed before deployment.
3. Version Control : Maintain version control systems (Git) and ensure that code brancpersons are correctly managed and merged.
4. Automation : Implement and improve automation tools and scripts (python, jenkins) to streamline tperson release process and reduce manual interventions.
5. Testing : Oversee pre-release testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
6. Deployment : Execute releases and monitor deployments, ensuring that tperson software is successfully deployed to production and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
