Responsibilities
Leadership
- Serve as lead for production scheduling and OTD performance
- Monitor and address issues affecting schedule adherence; drive corrective actions across departments
- Present scheduling performance and insights during leadership and management review meetings
- Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts in coordination with Sales and other departments
- Track forecast accuracy and implement improvements to enhance predictability
- Provide delivery dates for Contract Reviews (CR), Mini-Contract Reviews (mCR), and Available-To-Promise (ATP) processes
- Identify and mitigate future production bottlenecks related to labor, equipment, or supply chain capacity
- Create and manage Work Orders (WOs) based on production needs
- Optimize timing for warehouse kitting and adjust WOs as needed
- Manage excess material requests and communicate changes to the Finance team
- Provide weekly updates to the Sales team regarding estimated ship dates for active orders
- Ensure timely and transparent communication for customer updates
- Ensure all activities comply with Systel’s Quality Manual, policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Proficiency in production scheduling, purchasing, and supply chain management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving mindset and drive for continuous improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of building strong internal and external relationships
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Max ERP preferred
- APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification is a plus
