Job Description/ Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.)
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
- Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
- Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules.
- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
- Document functional designs, test cases and results.
What are the top 3 skills required for this role?
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
- Minimum of 8 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System.
- Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, HR, PP and PM.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the implementation and management of SAP Automatic Payments to ensure efficient financial transactions.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of SAP Classic GL to maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide expertise in SAP Profit Center Accounting to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
- Manage the integration of SAP FI-MM to streamline financial and material management processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP FI-SD to support sales and distribution financial operations.
- Oversee the management of SAP Asset Management to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of company assets.
- Utilize SAP FICO to provide comprehensive financial management and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial processes with business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve financial operations and achieve business goals.
- Provide training and support to team members on SAP financial modules.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
Qualifications -
- Must have extensive experience in SAP Automatic Payments, SAP Classic GL, and SAP Profit Center Accounting.
- Should have strong expertise in SAP FI-MM Integration and SAP FI-SD Integration.
- Must be proficient in SAP Asset Management and SAP FICO.
- Should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
