Key Responsibilities
- Architecting highly scalable, distributed enterprise data solutions with focus on big data platforms and enterprise data warehouses for reporting & analytics
- Designing and developing highly scalable and flexible data platform solutions
- Designing and documenting architecture at multiple levels (high-level to detailed) and across multiple views (conceptual, logical, physical, data flow and sequence diagrams)
- Providing active hands-on architectural guidance and leadership through the entire lifecycle of development projects
- Translating business requirements into conceptual and detailed technology solutions
- Collaborating closely with other architects and peers across the organization architecting and delivering solutions
- Performing third-party vendor assessments
- Developing and leading proof-of-concepts projects
- Keeping fluent in industry and marketplace evolution; continuously learning new data technologies and introducing these into the organization
Technical Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). Proficiency in utilizing cloud services to architect and deliver highly-scalable, distributed, cloud-based enterprise data solutions.
- Knowledge of architectural design patterns suitable for building scalable and distributed systems in the cloud. Familiarity with patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing.
- Ability to design systems at various levels, including high-level conceptual models and detailed physical implementations.
- Expertise in optimizing the performance of cloud-based applications, especially in handling high Transaction Per Second (TPS) scenarios. Knowledge of techniques such as horizontal scaling, vertical scaling, caching mechanisms, and load balancing.
- Proficiency in backend development technologies and frameworks suitable for high-volume transaction processing.
- Knowledge of various database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Understanding of database design principles, data modeling, and optimization techniques.
- Implementation of best practices for fault tolerance, resilience, and scalability in backend systems. Knowledge of techniques such as redundancy, failover mechanisms, circuit breakers, and auto-scaling.

- As Information / Data Architect within the Clients Technology you will build and enhance the operational data hubs that serve as a unique, reliable source for core, aggregated and derived data of the Product domain.
-Deliver consistent product data across digital channels that include instore experiences to support various business models including global markets.
The ADT (Architecture, Data and Emerging Tech) group is part of the Clients Technology organization.
We are responsible for architecting, developing and managing the data platforms, data integrations, reporting and analytics solutions for the Clients enterprise business data.
This role reports into the Clients Architecture function, working daily within the Product/Menu/Experience engineering and product team.
As a member of the broader architecture community, you will also leverage established architectural design patterns and practices used within client s global IT operations.
Supporting North America time zones, this role will provide guidance for market teams both in the United States and globally.
