28-$33 / hour

ASSEMBLER

We are seeking an assembler to assist our client with large, industrial equipment that is used within manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform assembly of equipment and sub-assemblies.
  • Disassemble, inspect and perform repairs to customers' assemblies.
  • Perform dynamic tests on critical assemblies before shipping to customers.
  • Participate in all mandated company training classes.
  • Operate lifting devices in a safe manner - forklifts, overhead hoists
  • Assist shop or service personnel as necessary
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications :

  • Must have the knowledge and ability to interpret assembly drawings in order to assemble components as part of a complete mill is essential.
  • Knowledge of proper bearing and seal installation is a plus!
  • 2 Years' experience building mechanical rotating assemblies using sound shop practices.
  • Must be able to provide own toolbox and own SAE & Metric tools - company provides specialty tools when necessary.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Tech School preferred
