System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for a Payroll Manager to lead our payroll and accounting administration efforts. Will provide leadership to a team, ensuring all payroll processes are executed accurately and efficiently, meeting or exceeding management expectations.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the monthly and annual accounting closing cycles, ensuring accurate recording of costs and preparing necessary reports
- Maintain and enhance accounting policies and procedures, implementing process improvements as needed
- Review and process payroll data, including managing pay rates and salary changes for all staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies and governmental regulations regarding payroll procedures
- Direct the preparation of government reports related to payroll
- Lead, mentor / develop, and evaluate a team of five to twenty ensuring adherence to policies and performance standards
- Drive communication across departments to expedite workflow and enhance overall productivity
