Job Title: Service Advisor / Inside Customer Service

This is a contract-to-hire position located in Parlin, NJ. The schedule/hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with pay ranging from $24 - $25 per hour (based on experience).

- Learn and become familiar with different lines of rubber products and associated accessories, lubricants, etc.
- Work closely with new customers to learn and understand their equipment, issues, and problems. Develop and sell solutions to meet their needs.
- Handle sales inquiries through internet, email, phone, and walk-in customers. Many orders are repeat business.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product line.
- Update and manage the company website, including posting pictures of items on sale and other updates.
- Deliver customer orders to Warehouse Associates/Manufacturing Technicians for fulfillment and explain orders to co-workers based on customer interactions/knowledge.
- Provide customer support by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in areas such as Rubber products, General Industrial Supplies, Bearings, Industrial Belts, Inventory Control preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including ERP management and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Prior experience in industrial parts sales, account management, or customer service is required.
