System One has an exciting opportunity for an individual who has Project Accounting/Cost Accounting experience to work with a growing company in the East Tulsa area. This company has two large projects and is requiring an additional Accountant to assist with managing one of the new projects. This partner is seeking a team oriented individual who has previous project accounting and cost accounting experience. Responsibilities:
- Project/Cost Accounting: Compiles, analyzes and reports cost on projects. Prepares Percent of Completion entries.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions
- Performs reconciliations over various balance sheet accounts
- Prepare Monthly Revenue Forecast
- Determines proper handling of financial transactions and verifies transactions are appropriately approved
- Requires employee to constantly type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelors in Finance or Accounting Required
- At least 2 years of experience in project or cost accounting
- Experience working in Oracle Cloud
- Ability to work full time, during normal business hours with some weekends and evenings as needed
