Job Description
Title: Application Systems Analyst
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid: In-office Tuesday–Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday)
Location: Louisville, KY
Position Summary
The Application Systems Analyst is responsible for the strategic and operational management of corporate applications, including Yardi, Nexus, and SharePoint. This role involves working in a collaborative environment to develop, maintain, and enhance application performance and functionality to align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system stabilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance, including upgrades.
- Provide user support and training on corporate applications.
- Analyze business requirements and develop functional and design specifications for application enhancements.
- Develop, test, and implement system improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation, including policies, standards, procedures, and checklists.
- Identify, recommend, and implement solutions to enhance application efficiency.
- Write, review, and deploy database scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Supervise contractors and manage assigned projects.
- Review and validate invoices related to application usage and development.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for corporate applications.
- Coordinate invoice approvals with the accounting department.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on application usage and functionality.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests related to corporate applications.
- Assist with the maintenance, management, and development of all corporate applications as needed.
- Collaborate with vendor support teams to ensure applications meet business needs and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2–5 years of application management experience, preferably in a real estate environment. Equivalent experience in an accounting role will also be considered.
- Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries and working with database scripts/stored procedures in an MS-SQL Server environment.
- Familiarity with cloud computing is preferred.
- Working knowledge of accounting concepts is highly desirable.
- Experience with IT purchasing is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Experience in REIT, real estate, or investment/asset management is a plus.
- Familiarity with Yardi suite of products (Yardi Voyager, Facility Manager, Deal Manager, Forecast Manager, etc.), Longview, Vena, Nexus, and Concur is desirable.
