Buyer/Planner

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align incoming materials with sales and production requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in supply chain processes and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production personnel to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce excess stock while also ensuring no stock-outs.
• Utilize Business Central for procurement management, tracking orders, and analyzing purchasing data.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of materials.
• Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
• Implement category management practices to optimize purchasing decisions across various material categories.
• Work with Engineering/Production on product flow and configuration management.

• 3 years experience as a Buyer/Planner 
• Proven experience in purchasing and procurement planning or a similar role within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of contract management practices and supplier negotiation techniques.
• Familiarity with quality management principles related to supplier performance.

Salary : $63,000 - $66,000
