Construction Contracts Manager will be supporting large construction projects, particularly in transmission and distribution groups. Responsibilities include understanding principles of contracts, managing large, multi-million-dollar contracts, supporting existing teams in Colorado and Minnesota, engaging with business unit partners and legal representatives, and attending construction meetings and site visits.

Contract Duration: 12-Months
Pay Rate: $87.00/hr.
Construction Contracts Manager will be supporting large construction projects, particularly in transmission and distribution groups. Responsibilities include understanding principles of contracts, managing large, multi-million-dollar contracts, supporting existing teams in Colorado and Minnesota, engaging with business unit partners and legal representatives, and attending construction meetings and site visits.
Construction Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
- Developing request for proposal documents, negotiating contracts, attending team and construction meetings, engaging with project managers and contractors, and administering multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Supporting battery, solar, and wind projects.
- The team consists of 8 core members, expanding to 10 with new roles. Key players include business unit partners, legal representatives, project managers, and contractors.
- Internal business and external construction and engineering contractors.
- High collaboration during RFP stages, more individual contribution during contract administration.
Construction Contracts Manager Requirements:
- Experience in contract management, particularly in construction.
- Experience with large, multi-million-dollar contracts.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with contracting systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Oracle).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- 5-10 years of multi-million-dollar contracts management, particularly in construction.
