Job Title: Cosmetic Skincare Formulator
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Employment Type: Direct Hire (DH)
Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM, M-F
Key Skills/Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience formulating and producing cosmetic products (for manufacturers or CMO/OEM).
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of raw materials, emulsions, surfactants, hyaluronic acids or serums, and active ingredients.
- Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and manufacture skincare formulations such as creams, serums, cleansers, toners, and masks.
- Select and source raw materials to meet performance, stability, and cost requirements.
- Conduct stability, compatibility, and efficacy testing on new formulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to launch.
- Maintain detailed records for product registration and safety assessments.
