Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 10% bonus
Start: Immediate
We are seeking an experienced Direct Materials Category Manager to lead our electrical category strategy for the organizations. This role will focus on managing and optimizing the supply chain in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments, ensuring alignment with product and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute long-term category strategies for critical direct materials within the organizations global manufacturing network.
- Prepare RFx, analyze proposals, and facilitate cross-functional supplier selections to optimize total value.
- Negotiate pricing, capacity, and contractual terms with suppliers to enhance margin and drive category performance improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a global manufacturing company.
- Preferred experience with electrical, electronics, and/or mechanical categories.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or operations; Master’s or MBA preferred.
