Forklift Mechanic (Electric) – Onsite | Secret Clearance Required
Location: Springfield, VA Core Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic (Electric) to join our team in Springfield, VA. This onsite role requires a minimum of a Secret security clearance and involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electric forklifts and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electric forklifts and other equipment to identify malfunctions.

Use a full range of diagnostic and testing tools to trace and isolate mechanical defects.

Determine the type and extent of necessary repairs, assessing whether issues can be resolved in-house or require vendor assistance.

Coordinate vendor repairs, including obtaining price quotes for services.

Conduct emergency and minor repairs as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Active Secret security clearance (minimum requirement).

Proven experience as a Forklift Mechanic, specializing in electric forklifts.

Strong ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.

Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools.

Ability to work onsite and manage repairs independently or in coordination with external vendors.
