What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handwork Assembler position at System One?
Job Title: Assembler
Location: Birdsboro, PA
Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with OT as needed
Assembler Overview
Perform finishing tasks on completed mold sets to ensure accuracy and precision using hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices.
Assembler Responsibilities
- Bench work with metalworking tools
- Sandblasting
- Forklift operation (certification or ability to obtain)
- Assemble tooling using bolting knowledge
- Inspect parts with measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- Follow safety and ISO standards in all procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 years trade school or 2 years technical college required
- Experience with industrial tooling, molds, and hand tools
- Preferred: Prior mechanical experience in industrial fabrication
- Proficient in reading safety rules and technical documents
- Basic math skills and MS Office proficiency
