Junior Controller

• Assist management and oversight of the company’s financial operations
• Support financial team in ensuring accuracy in accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with financial regulations and policies
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to senior management
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and review profit and loss statements
• Process AP/AR transactions timely with proper approvals
• Assist in maintaining accurate records in the general ledger
• Process journal entries and account adjustments as required
• Monitor and ensure proper classification of expenses and revenue
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-savings opportunities, and potential financial risks
• Prepare and present financial analysis reports for management review
• Assist in ad-hoc financial analyses as needed
• Help ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with financial standards
• Assist in improving internal controls and financial procedures
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in financial software systems

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships or part-time role may count)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, data analysis)
• Possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret financial data
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
