Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the operation of mixing and packaging line(s) by supporting equipment to ensure maximum production.
- Maintain manual and semiautomatic systems that process chemical substances into industrial or consumer products, such as sealants, adhesives, primers, and intermediates.
- Preform preventative maintenance on mixing and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunction of mixing or packaging equipment.
- Review and read electric drawings as needed.
- Assist production efforts when required.
- Performs other duties of a similar or related level and assists with special projects as necessary or assigned.
- Responsible for conformance with all safety rules to maintain plant safety.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- High School graduate, trade school certification in electronics or related field a plus.
- Able to read, write and comprehend documents in English.
- Able to lift up to 74 lbs
- Able to understand, analyze and resolve technical problems in work area.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Electrical, plumbing/pipefitting, fabrication and welding experience is preferred.
