What are the responsibilities and job description for the Modeler (Creo) position at System One?
Our client in Spring/The Woodlands needs to hire two Modelers for long-term contract opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Convert ship construction drawings (PDF) into 3D models using HECSALV.
- Develop Hull Inspection models and Critical Area Knowledge libraries.
- Assist with VIM database creation and modeler training.
- Ensure project quality and consistency.
- Propose process improvements and communicate workload updates.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Creo experience (Basic, Advanced & Surface).
- Familiarity with Windchill PLM, Finite Element Methods, AutoCAD, and Rhino (preferred).
- Experience with hull/structural modeling in HECSALV, GHS, ShipConstructor, SolidWorks, or Creo.
- Strong 3D visualization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering
