Job Title: Cleaning Operator

Shift: 1st Shift

Career Level: Contract to Hire

Summary:

The primary function of the Cleaning Operator is to perform scheduled and non-scheduled cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

This includes but not limited to:

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Performing daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in accordance with established procedures.
• Operating equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Identifying and reporting any hazards or defects in equipment or facilities.
• Assisting in training and development of new employees.

Responsibilities:

The Cleaning Operator will be responsible for:

• Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Using various cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Monitoring and maintaining equipment and machinery in good working condition.
• Participating in quality control measures to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth operation.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Cleaning Operator, you should have:

• A strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Basic math skills and ability to read instructions.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
