The Production Operator is responsible for performing coating operations, assembly of product and providing associated support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Efficiently perform production operations according to work instructions (Standard Operating Procedures- SOP)
- Perform in-process monitoring and recording of product quality
- Report up deviations in product from established standards
- Follow safe work and good housekeeping practices and report any unsafe conditions and incidents
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Take on any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
- Perform tasks in a chemical plant environment
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including data entry, are required
- 2 -3 years of experience working in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with 5S principles is essential
- Willingness to operate forklift (training will be provided)
