Production Supervisor Job Duties:
- The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in achieving positive results across quality, productivity, cost management, safety measures and employee morale
- Their responsibilities include supervising employees' work allocation and planning as well as implementing policies and procedures to drive improvements in production methods and working conditions
- Directs the production of quality products within established specifications, and in sufficient quantities to fill orders, following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Safety Rules
- Fosters an environment that promotes consistent quality product
- Actively supports and enforces Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Work and Safety rules, providing training as necessary
- Conducts performance evaluations; monitors attendance; adjusts timekeeping; resolves issues effectively
- Actively seeks better production methods through people-centric approaches or improvements in procedures / equipment
- Demonstrates professionalism with integrity while showing willingness to learn new techniques or technologies for improved results
Production Supervisor Job Requirements:
- Candidates MUST HAVE labeling experience!
- A Bachelors Degree is preferred, but not required
- A least 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a production environment
