Programming Technician Job Duties:
- Develop flat patterns for sheet metal parts using CAD software.
- Create machine programs for turret punch presses or a fiber laser to cut out parts.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Learn and implement machine programming software.
- Assist with the setup and operation of turret punch presses and fiber laser machines.
Programming Technician Job Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (required).
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and machinery.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Development of flat patterns for sheet metal parts.
- Use of machine programming software.
- Hands-on training in the setup and operation of turret punch presses and fiber laser machines.
