Job Description
The Project Control Specialist, Scheduling is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring daily (online), refueling, and integrated projects to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to nuclear risk management protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop work sequence structures to optimize resource allocation, outage constraints, and nuclear risk management.
- Analyze and track project status by comparing completed activities to schedules.
- Document project progress, process logic change requests, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct schedule review meetings to address logic and resource challenges.
- Prepare detailed reports to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Develop pre-outage plans for system schedules, startup/shutdown sequences, and major operational windows.
- Facilitate outage evaluation phases and implement lessons learned from previous projects.
- Perform risk analysis to assess safety and technical adherence levels.
- Interface with engineering, operations, maintenance, and senior management to resolve scheduling constraints.
- Utilize scheduling software to generate performance reports and resource analysis formats.
- Experience in project scheduling, risk analysis, and resource management in a nuclear environment.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and database management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
