This role plays a vital part in reducing operational downtime, improving reliability, and ensuring consistency in facility infrastructure and equipment. Candidates should have a strong background in industrial or chemical construction, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight
• Lead downtime repair and low-cost capital projects from planning to completion, aligning with organizational objectives.
• Create and manage comprehensive project plans detailing scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Site Management
• Oversee repair and standardization work across multiple industrial locations.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate work quality, enforce safety standards, and verify compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Equipment Standardization
• Support the development and rollout of standardized systems and equipment across facilities.
• Partner with engineering and maintenance teams to identify standardization opportunities that improve performance and reduce repair variability.
• Ensure specifications align with industry best practices and internal reliability standards.
Budget and Resource Management
• Develop, manage, and report on project budgets for downtime repairs and capital improvements.
• Negotiate vendor and subcontractor agreements to ensure cost-effective project execution.
Team Leadership
• Direct and mentor onsite project teams to foster a collaborative, safety-conscious, and results-driven culture.
• Host regular stakeholder meetings to provide project updates, resolve issues, and align goals.

Qualifications:
Education:

Experience:
• 5–7 years of experience managing industrial downtime repair and capital improvement projects, preferably in chemical or industrial environments.
Skills:
• In-depth understanding of equipment standardization, maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and operational efficiencies.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
Technical Proficiency:
• Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel:
• Willingness to travel extensively (50–75%) for project oversight at multiple locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certification.
