Quality Control Technician

Description:

• Perform in-process, finished, compression and thickness sampling and testing.
• Prepare samples for lab testing following standard operating and safety procedures.
• Locate and retrieve bundles and boards from the warehouse for sampling and testing when manufacturing lines are not running.
• Communicate effectively with production operators and leaders and assure all activities are performed safety.
• Escalate any issues when quality control results are abnormal or outside of specification and complete re-testing when needed.
• Maintain housekeeping in quality control work areas.

• High school diploma required or GED equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of quality experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferred
• Must have intermediate finite math and analytical skills and proficiency with G-Suite
• Must be familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures and have experience with quality control testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
