Responsibilities:
- Supervise small groups of engineers across various levels of expertise, ensuring project goals and deadlines are met.
- Direct and coordinate the work of assigned staff, providing clear direction and leadership.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, offering guidance for career development and improvement.
- Recommend training and development opportunities for junior staff to enhance their technical skills.
- Establish project scope and allocate staff, acting as the lead for the project or proposal.
- Advise on the development of new engineering methods and contribute to both short and long-term planning efforts.
- Provide technical leadership to both professional and non-professional teams.
- Supervise complex engineering tasks, taking ownership of a portion of major projects.
- Engage customers in detailed technical discussions regarding the identification and acquisition of design inputs, task scopes, and methodology/approach.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 10 years of progressively responsible experience in commercial nuclear electrical or I&C design, analysis, or engineering.
- Consulting Experience: Prior experience in a consulting engineering environment is highly desirable.
- Multidisciplinary Knowledge: Broad understanding of electrical and I&C design as well as quality management principles and practices.
- Licensing: Professional Engineering License required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to interact confidently at all levels.
- Attention to Detail: Must have a strong sense of urgency and consistently produce high-quality work.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD Software, and Electrical System Design software.
- Travel: Occasional to moderate travel may be required.
- Legal Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
