Service Technician (Electrician) - Lenexa

Requirements:

• Experience as a Industrial and Commercial Electrician is preferred.
• MSHA certification is a plus but not required.
• Typical 40-hour work week during the daytime hours, with some flexibility and overtime.
• Flexible and willing to work on-call, day, night, or weekend shifts as the project or job requires.
• Available to work overtime as needed.
• Dependable – must show up to work on time daily.
• Able to work inside or outside in various temperatures and environments.
• Must have reliable transportation with insurance.
• Safety conscious, follow all applicable PPE guidelines.
• Has basic hand tools and PPE.
• Self-motivated, career-minded, looking for a place with advancement opportunities.
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
• Certified to operate a BOOM or scissor lift, and ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test electrical components to diagnose problems, repair broken electrical components, and install updates for outdated electrical systems. 
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and install new wiring or other components to fix lighting, fuse boxes, and generators. 
• Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed electrical systems and component devices are operational. 
• Ensure electrical systems meet local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements. 
• Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by us, our customers, or OSHA.

must have the following skills:
- ability to work on their own
- troubleshooting and installing electrical systems
- able to maintain customer relationships.
- will need to be available for OT, in the evenings and occasional weekends.
- 7:00am - 3:30pm day shifts
- Kansas City metro area
- Fleet vehicle provided - must have good MVR
- does not need to be licensed
