A financial services company is looking to hire a Senior Accounting Manager!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle accounting:
- Accounts payable/receivable
- General ledger
- Reconciliations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate audits and collaborate with external auditors.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and processes.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, guiding best practices.
- Manage cash flow, expense reports, and financial planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial goals and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA certification is preferred
- Over 5 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Offering a competitive salary up to $110K DOE
