What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stability Engineer position at System One?
System One has a client located in North Houston looking to hire an engineer with a background in marine/offshore projects. This person would be responsible for conducting ship/offshore stability analysis. This will be a long term contract with the possibility of becoming direct hire.

- Work directly with clients to resolve technical problems
- Performs detailed engineering review of plans as assigned for compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and contract commitments.
- Performs work that involves conventional engineering practices but may include moderately complex problems such as the resolution of conflicting design requirements, material standards or coordination of activities among other disciplines.
- BS in Marine/Structural/Naval Engineering or related discipline required
- Demonstrated computer literacy in engineering software
- Familiar with stability requirements and calculations and designs of ships and offshore floating structures
