Structural Bridge Engineer
Our client seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer to join their growing team in Houston, TX.
Reason for Hire: Growth
Location: Houston, TX (in-office)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Interview Process: In-person, ASAP
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities:
- Work on multiple bridge projects, collaborating with the design team from concept to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Design bridges, retaining walls, junction boxes, and structural details for transportation projects.
- Contribute to the design of miscellaneous structures and provide technical expertise for building-related systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.
- 5–10 years of experience designing concrete bridges for transportation projects and preparing plans/specifications for clients such as TxDOT, cities, counties, and tolling authorities.
- Experience working within a team of engineers and technicians to deliver transportation projects successfully.
- Proficiency in preparing plans for TxDOT, cities, counties, and tolling authorities.
- Experience with Open Bridge Designer and Open Bridge Modeler is a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
