- Managing schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual federal and state income tax filings.
- Tracking completion and filing dates for all tax submissions.
- Preparing documentation for federal and state income tax returns.
- Reconciling general ledger tax accounts monthly.
- Researching and resolving reconciling tax items.
- Supporting federal and state tax audits and responding to notices.
- Preparing information for tax amendments.
- Developing quarterly tax forecasts and annual accrual forecasts by jurisdiction.
- Maintaining organized tax correspondence and filing systems.
- Assisting with general tax research and reconciliations.
- Supporting monthly sales tax return reconciliations.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- At least two years of experience in corporate, partnership, and individual income tax preparation and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and manipulate Excel reports.
- Proficiency in mathematical computations and error identification.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration inside and outside the company.
- Ability to manage stress, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Capacity to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL, Crystal Reports, Adaptive Workday, or Concur is a plus.
