RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop creative staffing plans to generate a qualified pool of applicants for current and future openings
- Develop job based situational and behavioral questions for current and future job openings
- Conduct interviews for a wide-range of positions
- Develop relationships and open lines of communication with the Business Accounts Manager to help ensure successful placements
- Research industry to understand requirements of positions and identify successful candidates
- Update and maintain candidate database
- Tracks and maintains records on candidates, job listings and client status
- Stay abreast of any changes to federal and state employment laws as it relates to interviews and hiring
- Other duties as assigned
- Thorough working knowledge of recruiting and staffing industry
- Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience as a Recruiter for a staffing agency, preferably in energy, engineering, manufacturing or light industrial.
- Proficiency in a variety of candidate souring platforms such as Indeed, Zip Recruiter, LinkedIn, etc.
- BS Business Administration, Human Resources of related field preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Computer literate, especially in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), particularly Bullhorn
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop a rapport with candidate base
- Salary plus monthly commission on individual placement gross profit.
